The Korean Chamber of Commerce Utah announced its first official event, an inauguration ceremony for President Hyea Won Clayton, and a business briefing. It is scheduled for Friday, January 26th at the University of Utah.
The event is co-hosted with the Andong Medical Foundation at Andong Hospital. This event aims to serve as an opportunity where Korean small business owners in Utah may come together with Asian business professionals and the mainstream American society.
Andong Medical Foundation at Andong Hospital established its U.S. corporation in April of last year. It boasts a 41-year history with advanced medical technology in collaboration with many other institutions. The foundation is presenting its Healing Health Tour and integration with a UNESCO-listed cultural exploration tour.
The briefing, open to those visiting Utah from Korea, will introduce a groundbreaking package which includes airport pickup and transit to a 4-star hotel, visits to renowned Andong restaurants, a 3-day Andong cultural exploration including endoscopy, and a full basic health checkup, all for $699.
"With this collaboration with Andong Hospital, we mark the beginning of a gateway connecting the U.S. and Korea," President Clayton expressed. "We aim to share the vision of the Chamber of Commerce and contribute to the engagement of Korean businesses throughout Utah. We anticipate innovation in networking through connections with mainstream American society."
The event will take place at the Ken Garff Club, located at Rice Eccles Stadium at the University of Utah. Attendance is limited to 100 guests. There is no cost for participation and registration is available via the event's QR code. The deadline for registration is Thursday, January 18th.
